Tanya started her first coaching business in 1996, working with like minded entreprenuers. For the past 12 years, she has worked as a trusted coach to CEO's and entrepreneurs in many countries. Today The Coaches Consortium is a franchised business in Australasia. Tanya and her group work with some of Asia Pacific's top brands and most successful organisations. She has designed a business model to share her DNA of Coaching and the INTERCEPT® Coaching Process. These programs build capability, leadership and problem solving skills.

Tanya Lacy believes that the world's challenges can be viewed as solid business opportunities. The UN's Millennium Development Goals (MDG's) are a global focal point to make change and integrating business strategies with the MDG's makes money and a difference. Tanya also believes that the Franchising Sector has a big part to play and can be mobilised in practical ways to problem solve, to make a buck and make a difference. It can;
1. grow problem solving skill and capacity within business,
2. foster entrepreneurship with a social purpose,
3. be a solution for replicable high impact delivery models,
4. build networks of problem solving people,
5. make social and global responsibility par for the course,
6. expand capacity and awareness of the MDG's, and

Tanya is the founder of InterceptPoverty.org and she is an advocate for coaching self reliance into the Developing World. Her expertise is in the area of Micro-Franchising as a solution to poverty. She is a member of the United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA) and aligns her Intercept® Strategic Think-Tanks to the MDG's as a framework for change in the world.
